The company Stemin is specialized in connecting shaft-ends. Therefore we have many solutions available for you.
In general we can divide the assortment in two main types of connections. In case of coaxial shafts, we use couplings. When the shafts are situated parallel, we have belt transmissions. Mainly V-belt drives or timingbelt drives.
Our purpose is to advise customers in choosing the most suitable solution. Because the boundary conditions can differ, it is important to have experience.
The engineers of modern machinery are more and more going to the limits of the current possibilities. You can think of compact dimensions, noise reduction, speed, safety aspects etc. etc. To give these engineers good advise, we have specialist available, who like to help realizing the ultimate solution.
In our opinion we think that our own production plays a mayor role in this. We want to have the knowledge here. It is necessary to be able giving good advise and make the right choices when subcontracting in low wage countries and do the critical jobs ourselves. Or in case of emergency to produce it completely here.
That is an important reason, why also larger multinational companies still like to order here. Our target market is not mainly in the Netherlands, but we deliver our products through West Europe. A mayor country of exports is Germany.
Our customers are mainly OEM customers, who produce in larger quantities. Therefore an efficient production is needed. But also the resellers are playing an important role to serve the end user market. We are succesful in pump industry, high-end agricultural machinery, special vehicles, waste treatment, wind energy and fans.
Besides standard components like couplings and v-belt drives we also have some very specific products in our program. For example couplings for windturbines, brake-clutch combinations, safety couplings, torquelimitors but also start-up clutches, tension control equipment, or clutches for mounting cap-screws on bottles. We also have a Pneurator for emptying silos, with an air driven stoke cylinder
